  Though this phone has longer battery times then our Thunder or Voyager phone, it won't last forever. Modern cellphones use a lot of battery power because of issues like brightly lit touchscreens, WIFI, Bluetooth, and GPS. For the Metro, just make sure you have Bluetooth turned off when you're not using it, dim the backlighting a bit. Turn off vibration for incoming calls unless it's really important. Choose a short ring tone and you'll be able to go for long periods without charging. It fact, this phone has one of the best battery times we've seen in a long time.

  The phone itself can store 1000 contacts. Each SIM card usually takes 250 contacts. In total you are looking at 1500 contacts. That's a lot of ex-girlfriends!

As cellphone aficionados, we test our fair share of phones for professional and personal reasons. For us, cellphones that have in the past provided exceptional feel in your hand quality has been any of the Nokia N series especially the N95. Going farther back, the Siemens S40 felt great to hold as well. We're not big fans on the iPhone though because it is a locked phone and it looks like a black brick. It feels like you're holding a calculator in your hands not a mobile phone! The Metro CVFD-M65 on the other hand is the epitome of a compact, yet powerful phone. Besides its swivel screen and QWERTY keyboard really put those brand name phones like the E63, N71, Blackberry, and Blueberry to shame.

  First, there are two places to access Bluetooth. One is in SETTINGS then USER PROFILES. Don't use that route. Instead click on the main menu icon called ORGANIZER, then EXTRA, then Bluetooth. You'll be able to toggle Bluetooth on and off, search and pair with active devices from there.
